Institutional Review Board
The National Marrow Donor Program's® (NMDP) Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a panel that reviews research studies using donors as subjects in order to ensure that these studies are ethical and protect the rights of the donors/subjects. The IRB is composed of representatives from stem cell transplantation, donor management, law, ethics, and the community at large.
Researchers, research staff, and current or potential research participants may contact to submit questions, convey suggestions, or express concerns about the NMDP Human Research Protection Program.
